Southwesterly winds strengthening over a larger area of west-central and central NM and up the Upper Rio Grande Valley combined with very low humidity will yield critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions Sunday afternoon and early evening. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 7 PM MDT Friday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.
