* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Tucson Metro and Santa Cruz County.

* WHEN...From 2 PM MST Tuesday afternoon through 11 PM MST Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected Tuesday afternoon and evening. Additional rainfall from the previous day will result in faster responses in normally dry washes, creeks and roadway dips. Rainfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour are expected with the stronger storms with isolated areas having the potential of 1-3 inches. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 561 IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ARIZONA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA PIMA IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA SANTA CRUZ THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF NOGALES AND TUCSON.
